Andrea Martínez Celis is a Visiting Lecturer at Universidad Rey Juan Carlos and a PhD candidate in English Linguistics at Universidad Complutense de Madrid. Her research is mainly focused on the role of intercultural pragmatics in the internationalisation of higher education.

Licenciada en Derecho y Estudios Superiores de Música. Violinista Cuarteto de Cuerda “Dolci Corde”. Profesora en el Colegio del Apostolado de Valladolid en las asignaturas de Historia y Música (Sección Bilingüe).

Licenciada en Filología Hispánica. Diplomada en Filología Inglesa. Profesora en el Colegio del Apostolado de Valladolid en las asignaturas de Lengua castellana y Literatura y Cultura Clásica (Sección Bilingüe).

Irene Castellano-Risco is a lecturer at the University of Extremadura, Spain, where she teaches modules related to English for Specific Purposes. Her research interests concern vocabulary acquisition, Content and Language Integrated Learning (CLIL), EFL learning and teaching and language learning strategies. Ana Mª Piquer-Píriz is a lecturer at the Faculty of Education (University of Extremadura, Spain) where she teaches undergraduate courses to teacher trainees and postgraduate courses in the Master’s programme ‘Master in Bilingual Education through English for Primary and Secondary school teachers’. Her research interests concern EFL learning and teaching, L2 vocabulary acquisition, figurative language and, Content and Language Integrated Learning (CLIL).
