Ramiro Durán Martínez is an associate professor in the English Studies Department of the University of Salamanca. He teaches at the Faculty of Education. He started his career as an Escuela Oficial de Idiomas teacher and since 1997 he has dedicated his time to training ESOL (English to Speakers of other Languages) teachers in the Primary and Secondary education sector. He is currently the main researcher of the research project titled La atención a la diversidad en los programas bilingües de educación primaria: análisis del grado de inclusión del alumnado con necesidad específica de apoyo educativo , funded by the Spanish Ministry of Science and Innovation. He has published in the areas of English Language Teaching, Intercultural Competence, and Attention to Diversity in Bilingual Education in Spain. |
