El Congreso de la American Association of Teachers of Spanish and Portuguese se ha celebrado del 6 al 9 de julio en Chicago y EB ha participado con una ponencia titulada “LA FORMACIÓN DEL PROFESORADO: UN RETO PERMANENTE. ¿CUÁL ES LA MEJOR FORMACIÓN?”
El congreso ha reunido a cientos de miembros de AATSP con quien la Asociación Enseñanza Bilingüe tiene firmado un convenio de colaboración.
Ante un nutrido grupo de asistentes, Virginia Vinuesa habló de la importancia de la formación inicial del profesorado para que un sistema educativo pueda contar con profesionales bien formados.

Teacher training is a key element to provide quality to any educational system and fundamental to ensure the success of students. Through practical examples and videos, this paper will address, from the Spanish perspective, the importance of WHAT to teach and HOW to teach, both in initial and in-service teacher training, so that teachers can confidently face the daily challenge of teaching, and allow students to develop all their skills and the competencies that will be required in the future.
