Schmidt, Thomas

Dr. Thomas H. Schmidt is a graduate of Business Administration and carried out his PhD in the field of consumer behaviour and psychology in 2007.
His is the actual Vice-Dean of Studies in Modern Languages, Director of the Master’s in Bilingual teaching: English and the Director of the Language Department at UCAM.
He has been teaching German and EFL in Spain for over 25 years in live and blended courses and has also taught in different Masters and PHD Programmes (Business Administration, Sports Management and Teacher Training and Bilingual Teaching) apart of other subjects the assignment of research methodology in different master programs.
His publications include works on language learning and teaching, as well as on consumer behavior and the decision making process.
He is currently leading a research group on bilingualism: English and is research member in the innovation project of Problem-Based Learning in the ESP classroom.
